This is a great opening to Songs For the Black Hole. It makes me want know the rest of the story. It's a conversation between two guys who are about to take off into space to complete the mission mentioned by the robot. One of them is reluctant to go, and the other is outwardly excited. The whole "who is this I see" part is when they realize one of the two woman accompanying them was a love interest of the reluctant guy at the academy they just graduated from.
