i think it means that, even after all this time on earth.. humans can't help but destroy themselves.. today we are still fighting wars, when there are other ways of going about solving conflicts.. and it's like.. some nations are constantly at war and i think they forget why it even began. we don't learn from our mistakes. war solves nothing, but i think this song is deeper than just war between nations.
