I think it's pretty obvious what this song's about (maybe because it's how I usually feel). He feels surrounded by sex, he wants it, but only on a primal level. There are other things that are more important to him, so he tries to get away. Obviously, he's not very successful. Apart from the broken motor and lack of fuel, he still can't stop thinking about girls ("it's a long swim home for your cute little arms", "the only fish i smell is on the back of my boat").
