totally makes me think of my friends leaving for college :'( sad sad
trying to make the most of the summer, saying goodbyes, etc. "we made plans for your last day / sat and talked for awhile"
always seemed such a distant thing, and now it just looms "it seems so strange as a stranger lost inside of you / without a cause and direction i'll never make it through"
and of giving in to the inevitability of it all, kind of hoping to still be able to stay close somewhat, as much as such distance permits, i suppose ""i don't know when i'll see you" / and you reached over and looked as we said goodbye / and i know when you need me / i'll be thinking, waiting until next time"
