when i first heard this song i thought it was about finding love in another person. however, more recently whenever i hear this song, i always feel like he is singing about loving one's self and being secure with that love. maybe i'm just applying the song to my current situation?
@JustGreenEnvy Agreed - especially after having been through relationships and recognizing that, no matter how much someone else loves us, it's always going to be less secure than the love we can give ourselves - we can only trust ourselves, perhaps? That said, when you come to realize we are all one, love becomes much bigger than some expectation we have of how someone else should treat us.
