"Dies Irae (Day of Wrath): Dies Irae is the Latin phrase for day of wrath, and I thought it had a very nice ring to it. I found the phrase in a dictionary, and felt that the song we were making at the time was perfect for the title because the phrase “Dies Irae” is rather beautiful but when you see the translation, you start to question it a little bit. That, to me, was intriguing. This song was written under our old name Self Infliction and looking back on it, it is a little ironic that we wrote a song called “Day of Wrath’ before we changed our name to Advent Wrath. I suppose the song can have different meanings now…"
