when i first heard this song i wasnt so shure about the meaning i though ,you just so guy wanting to break upwith some girl . but i think this song might be about sleepin with a girl whose already married. he wants her to leave her husband (or maby fiance)sometimes he hates her and somtimes he can live with out her (hope dangles on a string like slow-spinning redemption winding in and winding out the shine of it has caught my eye ) she likes him but wont leave her partner.
