The beginning is actually a metaphor, brightestfirefly. He's saying that he has a decision to make and is calling it a stoplight. He then tells us about his choices. "The right is history." I think that he means that his first choice is to move back to London, England to be with Isabell. That's history because they're no longer together. "And to my left the choice is right." I think that he's saying that it's time to move on with his life and forget about the past. "Will I see this another way?" He's wondering whether he'll later regret ending the relationship between Isabell and himself. He's also using a pun when he says, "So directionless, I head into oblivion." He's making another reference to being at a stoplight but is also saying that he's emotionally lost.
