i think this song is about love. Yes, blindside is a christian band... that doesnt mean that all of their songs have to be about christianity...i mean... look at creed (even tho the band split up)... not all of their songs were about christianity... at least i never interpreted them that way...yet thats for one to decide on their own how the interpret the song. they can sing about life also... which brings me to the meaning of this song.i think that its a song about love and life. cause he says that he smells her for the first time all over again, probably meaning that he fell in love with her again, and then he says " I slipped, stumbled, but fell face first
