I am friends with this band and i can tell ya that
this song is not about heroin or coke. Edsel writes about what he knows he does not use heroin or coke so he wouldnt write about it. It's basicly about dope in its early stages of life. not knowing if dope would be big and if anyone would like them music is his (edsel's) life if he isnt doing music then his life is slipping away.
