This is probably my favorite Manson track.
I think Akasha is spot on with the meaning, it's about how america has a habit of cowering down to bible belt mentality.
I also think it is Manson spitting venom back at the people who were pinning him as the reason society is turning to shit, he is basically saying that he is just commentating on what is happening, and that the fact that people are lifting their heads and opening their eyes, has more to do with people getting sick of being fed the bullshit American dream, than anything he is saying, and that if it wasn't him, someone else would have come along eventually to say the same thing, that basically, a society that is controlled by fear and lies will eventually turn on the people holding the leash.
