The vid is about this guy who calls a hooker to his hotel room...after filming her while they get it on, he later becomes obsessed with her - she freaks out and leaves the room. He follows her wherever she goes, filming her...he then wakes up one morning (the start of the vid) but can't remember what happened previously until he reviews the tapes he made of her. He bursts into a fit of rage when he realises he'll never have her...then the video ends where the story begins (as opposed to the video beginning where the story is about to end).
I think the song and the vid are about being obsessed with a certain girl, in a creepy kind of way.
I definitely agree with you here. The fact about him never being able to have her I think also he may have not known she was a hooker in the beginning. If you watch the video she goes from innocent to provocative which is where he looses it. I think it went from experimenting with a video, to a stalkerish crush, to finding out she is a hooker in which case he goes crazy.
