For me this song is all about living for the moment. At the beginning of the song they are both completely in love and it feels like they're going to be together forever-
"Tell me I'm forever yours and you're forever mine" It's that moment in most relationships when you feel and almost 'know' you are going spend the rest of your life with that person.
The second half of the song is all about the person who the song is about, explaining that he/she realises they can't be together forever because "There is no always forever just this". For me that line explains the whole meaning of the song, nothing lasts forever because there is just "This", just the here and now. For me the line "There is no if...just and" means that there is no 'if you die..' there is only 'and you die' because it isn't a possibility that one of them will die, it is a fact, which again brings the whole meaning of "there is no always forever" out of the song. You can't have someone forever, so you have to make the most of the present moment.
