this song feels like there is some really deep pain that someone went through and the emotions of never letting it go (duh) and the anger that goes along with it. I dunno, I listened to this song constantly after my dad died, and I really connected with it. The idea that you always have this hurt inside and that no matter how hard you try something will end up wrong, that that's just life (Strive for perfection and strike with precision soon it blows up in your face and the smoke blurs your vision).
The best line however is is what Jeffrey Nothing yells "the cut that always bleeds but never shows." That just sounds like a deep emotional hurt that you always carry with you but people wouldn't see just by looking at you.
