This is my favorite Matt song and I actually love the newer lyrics better. These aren't it. In those, the chorus includes "Cause I've gone long enough/Waiting for Wonderful". I understand the desperation that comes with finally finding someone to love you and not wanting them to ever leave you because it took you so long to find that person that you're afraid if they leave you won't find anyone else again.
