Well, unfortunately I don't speak German so I have to rely on the english translation (http://world.altavista.com/babelfish) and from this fairly dodgy translation it seems to be about two people who were in love but are growing apart and even though they're together they are both lonely, but it's about wanting to reconnect and feel love again.
But of course, even badly translated, the lyrics put it in a much better way than that :P
