The chorus to this song is the best part for me. It's that feeling that you may or may not have experienced when your in your room trying to sleep but you can't...there's a little bit of light in your room and you notice if u move your hands u can make different shaddows. The "what you are is what you lost" part, is just about realzing that the only thing you have at the end of the day is confusion, and that's what's keeping you up at night. The lasat part "the price to pay is worth the cost", is saying how no matter what happened, or how bad it was, in the end it was worth it. good stuff
