She is in love with a hypothetical person that she knows in her heart exists, she just hasn't met yet. I can relate to this song because I had the same with my fiance before I even met him. I knew all of his little habits and liabilities that I thought were silly delusions, but I felt were true and realistic in my heart. I met my fiance and I new he was the one for me and now we are getting married and I (who is from the USA) am moving to Berlin, GErmany where he lives!
