This song amazes me... and similar to Frkboy33... i definitly listen to it on repeat!!
its clearly about his staying up all night, etc, but i think he brilliantly put it into words. also, while he may be up all these nights thinking about he can "never get enough of love", i also think he is probably thinking about his inability To love someone else.. which is why he continually is up all night just thinking and detaching himself from the rest of the world. he can never get it, and he can never give it. the "shuttle from station to station line" and the "dont mind the days gone rolling away" lines contribute to the idea that his life is just passing him by, and will continue to until he is able to love, give and receive it.
