compared to my other musical interests. i love britney spears.
and i'm still trying to figure it out.
i think it might be the fact that everytime her song will come on the radio i just get boppy and happy because hey, this song is upbeat and makes me feel sexy! when i'm out with the girls, it's fun to blast britney and just be goofy. she's been there for the good. when i was a little girl, obviously, i somehow related to her freshmen album. she's definitly proving herself in the world though, changing.. just like her idol madonna did. her music is now barable to listen to repeated times, unlike after hearing "crazy" or "Oops, i did it again" once you could not make it through the second time. but i love toxic, probably with being single and on the prowl...it's great to just get up and dance to. nothing wrong with being happy and listening to happy music. so i give kudos to britney. not so much a role model anymore (with the getting smashed and getting married thing) or with her infamous quote "i go to a lot of places oversees, like canada" but hey, give the girl some credit. she's a household name WORLDWIDE and somehow manages to have that pressure and popularity. i know i would have breakdowns. but she's pushing on.
