I'm really not sure why i like this,
it SHOULD be awful. in truth both the music and lyrics are naff, but i dunno, its a totally mesmerising track to listen to, because it just works. fantastically at that too.
It doesnt really start particually positively this track i dont think, that might seem weird, perhaps 'There are moments of escape for every one of us
And the beauty in the times that we create' might display a kind of frustration generally. Things change in the world, and perhaps have since 1979, and perhaps this is what its trying to say here, cos by the end we get: 'There's no need for us to go back in time
Because we've found our open eyes ' naimely, things have changed again, possibly for the better.
Vehicles and animals, perhaps this is a metaphor for ways of dealing with life, which were perhaps more noticable or easier to digest in the past. although, something changes, love? life? work? to make the present easier to control or deal with.
