At firsfor i read ya'll posts i thought it was her dad who abused her but i was WRONG! It's just about being abused to the point that you just can't take it anymore so you show that person that hurt you how much it hurt.
"that she hides away to tame the pain she feels" Perhaps this line means she cut herself trying to kill herself cause she couldn't take the pain anymore!
