This song made me think or me when i was really depressed. The feelings of self harm and thinking that it all could only end in suicide. "it's obvious now that you're scared of yourself" reminded me of how scared I was of what I could do. I know this probably isn't the real meaning but it did reminded me of the promises I made to some of my friends that I wouldn't do any thing stupid even though I felt like it.
