I'd like to add another little interpretation to this song. This world is so built on proof, with "experts" in a million-and-1 areas preaching and pushing their beliefs on others.
I see this as a powerful line:

Back when Aaron wasn't "somebody" people didn't believe him. He knows his own strength and his own heart enough to spread his love in the right directions. But people won't take it. And they ridicule him for it. They'd rather put their faith in those that have supposed degrees and certifications ... despite the lies they spread.

Or do you want more from me?"
Are you happy with what you've been told? That I've helped with all my heart as much as I can but you reject it.
