Seems he jumped off a building, the lines "Wrapped in the asphalt that cushioned his face" and "you should have seen the curse that flew right by you, pages of concrete." They even say on their site that the "story" of the album ends tragically when the person it is about ends up killing himself.
It's an amazing song though, my second favorite on the album.
