It seems more to be about a guy who believed his girlfriend love him, to find out that she never really did. When he refers to “your dirty love” in the first line of the song, I feel that he isn’t referring to it as a sexual love, but rather an unclean, soiled love. The secret he refers to, that she hides so well, most likely refers to when she said “I love you.” He believes that she doesn’t mean it anymore, and really questions whether she ever did.
It’s such a horrible feeling to be hurt, and a lot of the Saved by Grace songs reflect that.
