I think this song is about someone who is hopelessly in love with someone who doesn't give a damn. But the narrator doesn't see this! She seems to realize that he probably doesn't really love her later in the song. Maybe she's liked this person before, but it didn't work out (makes sense of the "would you break it apart, AGAIN"), but she still wants him. I dunno. I agree with this being one of her weaker songs, but its good in its own way (my favorite part is that interlude...her interludes are so cool).
