No offense, but clue me in as to where anyone thinks the overall musical ability in Planes comes from... They're a musical mess...
And they are the most incredible musical mess I've ever known.
But lyrically? Well, their lyrics floor me every time... It's most of what they are... 'Cause they've figured out how to mesh the two so well. I hardly think how long a song is lyrically has anything to do with how meaningful it is. Maybe sometimes it's more important to just get the point across than to become preoccupied with finding as many pretty words as possible to express how you feel.
