good call on the meaning of this song. It just occured to me while thinking about the name of their latest release (cheeses of nazareth) that the name of that album and this song kind of tie in together. like Reese frustratedly mocking the fans who feel that five irons legacy will be their silly songs "no one understood a word they said, held them all as kings up upon a pedistal" like everytime he writes such brilliant lyrics they go unnoticed or taken at face value, or misheard almost like "cheeses of nazareth". I think the fact the album is supposed to be entirely silly songs (dont own it yet, so i might be wrong) is a kind or tongue in cheek bitterness towards those who have been telling the band to make more silly songs (for those who dont know, there was an uproar from many "fans" who wrote emails, came on message boards, and talked to the band in person saying their last two albums werent good due to lack of silly songs and extra tracks) and I can't help but feel that if I walked up to Reese and said "Oh man I just got cheeses and that album is great, you guys are the funniest band ever" it would make him sad and think less of me.
