this song is phenomenal. sara completely nails it...i think she is talking about how hard it is to search for a place where you are at peace with yourself. she found a place to let go of everything tin her life that hurt her that she had held on to not knowing she could escape it. when she finds this place... she sees it as heaven... a place no one else can touch and where no one else can make her feel as good as she feels here. but everyone else (society, family , freinds) disagree with her heaven and discourage it. it is so disheartening to work so hard to find something succh as peace within your own body and have someone tear your dream, your heaven down, and say it is nothing... she sees how hard this is and tells them(specifically her mother) that although this life isn't good enough for her, it is where she is happy , and that she should try to understand it...

i wonder though.. i heard that sara was homosexual. i wonder if she is trying to express her family's disapproval of it through this song and hoping they will understand that this makes her happy. if anyone can confirm this, please do.

@dreadhead12 She’s not a homosexual. She got married to a man and divorced.
