Palpitate means to beat with excessive rapidity. LOL and as for the referances to the fictional character named Christ you must be talking about being nailed to a cross. That was a way of torture by the Romans to anyone who opposed them and it then became famous because of the fictional character. He became a martyr for Naziholics hypichristians everywhere.
