Based on the sarcasm of "yeah, right" I'd have to say this song could be about Ryan realizing this lifestyle is pathetic. Or... I like to think it's about a girl he used to know who's desperately trying to meet someone new by going to bars. The whole "run away baby" verse really convinces me.
