To me, my friend Mike could be singing Shaggy's part and the rest of us (his homies) could be singing Jay's part. Mike would be the type of spirit to come up behind us in the mirror and stick his tongue in our ears...and the rest of us don't necessarily want to be "not alive" but we have always been told that death answers all of those questions you ponder during life. Also, death is the only way we will ever be with Mike again...so some of us want to go to the other side.
