this song is by far my fav pinback song.... i think its about him losing a girl and he is finally realizing how much he misses her like a "bright light" it flashes infront of him and he remembers the memories and theyre so important now because he cant have her anymore or be able to create more memories so he's left to linger on the old ones and he doesnt understand why the relationship ever ended... thats my guess. its a great song either way
