Cycovisionary, I'm glad you gave your opinion, I am. I hardly dismiss you as a heretic or whatever word you want to use, and I read everything you said. That being said,
"Your opinion matters not to me" - at the end of the message you say that one of the bad things about us is that we don't accept the opinions of others... make up your mind, bud.
"And i'm here making a stand for what i think is right, for what i know is right." - You never mentioned what that even is. All you did was put down what I think is right, what I know is right.
"Your life will be a waste, and you will look back on your death bed and realise what the hell you've done" - No, I'll look back and realise that I've helped and served people the best that I could. Hopefully I'll go to Heaven, but if not at least I'll have lived a good life.
"tried to live up to a deity that promotes Elitism, Racist, and Homophobes" - This was the only thing that you said that annoyed me. The thing about people who denounce Christianity like you is that they know almost nothing about its teachings, only the stereotypes. If you come back after having done some serious research (like I have), then I'll respect what you've said in that sentence.
"You may well preach to your friends about what they have done, but before you judge other people, look in the mirror, and judge yourself" - That's the entire point of the Faith. Some of us are better at it than others, but we're all human. "Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us" man.
"Look at the TV, see the war in Israel, and judge what your faith has done" - Like I said, some people make mistakes because of extremist beliefs and whatnot. I can't help that as I have NOTHING to do with them and I never will, so please don't judge me based on their actions... you're dabbing into hypocracy a little bit there man.
"But in the end, your judgement counts for nothing." - Exactly. Only the judgements of one person will count, I believe that as much as anyone else. I try not to judge in my life, like I hope you do.
Anyway, I'll pray for you, so even though I doubt you'll take comfort in that I hope you'll remember it.
