yep i hafta agree with atarikid77...kris said at a show it was about how he hated flying and he would drive up to a airport and watch planes because he was trying to find beauty in something he didnt like....just goes to show how totally awesome he is....but i personally love this song...i have satellite and the alternative music channel the one that plays only music was playing this song long before the album came out and they had it titled as in this diary....so technically this is the first song i heard off the new album and it literally took my breath away...i dont have a significant other to relate it to but the line about the lights and blue eyes hits home because my ex bf had really amazing blue eyes...its such a great song and it just confirms for me that the ataris really are my favorite band! sorry such a long message i just cant help it i love them!
