i think all songs have a different meaning to anyone listening to them, but for me the line "when you want it, goes away to fast, times you hate it, always seems to last" is about self-harm... how when you need the pain, it always seems to go away too quickly, and when you hate it, but do it anyway, it seems to last longer..
