To me.. this song symbolizes "going with the flow". The artist has struggled far too often, and realized possibilities only happen when you let things be like they are, "like whatever it will be it will be."
Instead of trying so hard for something to work, if something is meant to be .. it will: "I'd rather take it easy, then try to force what's on it's way to me."
