As far as the meaning goes, I think its a love song (I think all the songs on YPAA are love songs, thats why it has a picture of Matt's wife in the sleeve). Basically, I think its about being in love with this girl but thinking that the girl is somehow too good for him, that's why I think the use of "a MILLION ways to feel no pain" in the first verse and then "a BILLION ways to feel no pain" in the second verse is so clever.
