This song is obviously about going to college because your parents want you to, but it ends up being more than you expected.
I really like Relient K, but some of their Christian messages are flaky. For instance, that part:
"Do what will make God happy
Do what you feel is right
Only but one thing matters
Learn how to live your life."
(yeah, first time he says "you happy" second time he says "God happy", listen to it and you'll see)
