i agree with Drav that I too, don't see racial intentions. I just listened to the song again and i get no feeling of that. I get the feeling that the song is about a differnt in ideas, not in the diffence of skin color. Merly because it says "black and white" in the song, doesn't mean its abotu black and white people ;).. i've played games called black and white, and its not about racism ;). But anyways, as i was saying, Hannible does offer some good support for the argument, and i respect, but disagree with it ;).
The songseems to empahize that in life, there is no gray area in the desciosions we make. You cannot say that, for example, underage drinking is kindda good, but kindda bad. This song would suggest that It is either 100% good, or 100% bad, there is no inbetween. I got a feeling that the song is about choises... let me elaborate

From my listenings of In Flames, i have concluded that they have a tendancy to say some romantic things bout the curroption of socity. SOOOO, that aside, i can now continue- In flames looks at nature and realizes how rigth it is, but then when they look towards socity, they realize that it is bad, and they are happy to be seperated from it 'tonight'

but I know that you do. " - SImply put, have you ever felt guilty? Even if you say you havn't? Stop lieing to yourself, and come to the realiziation that what you do make choises everyday, and they are good, or bad, there is no middle ground.
"You claim that you are innocent,
but tell me who ain't. " This, i hear, as being kind of sarcastic. You say that your motives are good, but then again, show me 1 person who would do something bad and then claim it good. Basicly, everyone can claim to be innocent.
