"I am gone, everybody's raging...And these fruits, they still taste of poison..."
Thom is showing a person who has tried to step away from the problems that overwhelmed him, but that he is still hounded by them. The "fruits" could be people/situations/things that seemed sweet and good for him at first, but he has come to realize that everything isn't always how it seems, and he sees that these are "poisoned".
"I won't be around, When you really need me"
-The person is basically saying that although the listener is here for him when he needs them, that he can't guarantee the same for when the listener needs help.
"I can't sleep, why can't someone hold me...I need warmth, my restless body cracks and moans..."
-The person is saying how much he yearns for love/support, and how lonely he feels inside.
"I won't have the strength...When you really need me..."
-He is not capable of returning the emotion the listener has given him because of his insecurities and/or self-absorption.
