AFI has been my favorite band for years. I never heard Son of Sam until about three or four months ago. Now I think I like Son of Sam more. I wish they'd get together and make another CD.
As for the detailed description on what the songs mean, I've never really thought about that, which is odd because I'm always trying to interpret songs. I guess this song would be about going into the darkness, or night, forever because that's where he belongs. I don't know. There's more to it, but it would take me a while to figure it out, and I usually need a push in the right direction before I can fully understand a song.
