To me it seems about how people have always complained that hitting or abusing women is such a bad thing. For example, take the lines "when she's still the chick, or stupid bitch (ridiculed for showing an interest)...could be getting at the fact that somebody could be driven to hit someone if she really is a stupid bitch, yet nobody seems to care because they're too busy bitching about how wrong it was. Or the lines "hidden indifference strikes an emotion reactoin when you see an animal being abused, yet un-noticed when a woman is abused in the same way" ...how people act that there is an indifference between us and animals so it is ok to mutilate them and hunt them for sport, yet when a woman is hit it is taken in a completely different thought. Just gotta say I love the song and happen to agree with it.
