I like that line, because I know that when you're backsliding, you don't even realize it until you've gone so far you can't even remember what it feels like to be in love with God. "If I thought that You'd hear me, if I thought that I could speak... this is what I'd ask for". sometiimes it seems like you're so far away from God that He can't even hear you anymore. and the part "If I thought that I could speak..."
