Some songs arent what you'd expect of afi, but some like this one, are pretty good.
I think he is talking about that suffocating feeling you get when someone puts you so far down, you dont want to get up. "I... break down, and cease all feeling" means to me, that he just gave up, he doesnt have the strength to go on, yet he puts his feelings to the back of his mind, gets up, and lives his life.
Davey Havok is the most brilliant poet I have ever heard, although this isnt what id usually expect from afi ( very different from shut your mouth and very proud )
