Heh heh. I love this song too, but I'd have to disagree whith monogroid when you say "sometimes gentlemen too" doesn't fit... It goes rather well with the whole thing where Orgy pretends to be (or at least is amused by people who think they are) gay.
I think this song is about style and fashion.. Wanting to fit in so that people will like you (hence "and all the ladies want you, and sometimes gentlemen too"). Perhaps the "bring me back the time" is referring to how over the years the styles change, different decades were known for different trends in fashion.
People often say they don't like this song but that's just silly, it's great.
