Balloon Ride

A lot of times, we often find that we're focusing on ourselves, and doing things "our way," because for some reason, man has this funny thing called pride, and we think that we're powerful and flawless in all that we do, when in fact, we're far from it. We mess up; we blow it; we fail. And it's in these times that we're really hit hard, because we have to face that fact, the fact that we really are weak, and we can't do things on our own. It's also in these times that we're forced into a much needed humility, and that's what I think this song's about: the realization that we NEED God, but more importantly, that He's always there for us, even when we do utterly fail. If we keep our focus on God, even when those around us mock us and try to bring us down, He'll take care us, all because of the simple fact that He loves us. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29
