i can't believe no one has commented on this song yet. one of my favorite mcr songs. i have a few friends who are internet/web design guys who sit in cubes at big companies and theyre all about bringing home the paycheck and getting their little piece of "the american dream" just like everyone else. this song is all about being different, about not doing that with your life. the "i think id love to die alone" is a reference to just being different and doing what you want to do with your life instead of working for the man and being a carbon copy of everyone else in society. if fitting in means sitting in a cube, i for one want to "live and breathe and die alone" ...
