i think i agree with you gavin on it being the end of the relationship and him needing to get her the fuck out of his life, but i think he actually does kill her... he's not waiting for her to do it herself, he need her to die by his hands to finally get the closure that he's been longing for... and i totally can relate on needing that closure...
